They talked about better focus. For one night they delivered. 6 Pistons were in double digits and the game was over very early. The defense was better, as was the shooting and execution on offense. But, once again it was versus the Knicks. With this team, this season, you take what you can get. So I will be happy for a day or two about the performance of the Pistons.
My hope remains that the Pistons somehow get locked up in the first round with the Orlando Magic. There is no doubt that this season the Magic have been much better than the Pistons. Come playoff time it is all about match-ups, and the Pistons have owned the match-up between these two teams.
This game is the classic Pistons at their best. Balanced scoring, solid defense everybody contributing... and nobody whining about coming off the bench...
